How Do You Keep Your Tobacco

Mason Jars here across the board... even for short term storage. But I dont have mine on display, mine are tucked away under a nightstand where its easily accessible and it stays cool and dark. Also I agree with rothnh... you can never have too much tobacco.

    Need Help Deciding

Well it seems as though most of you are making quite the case for the tobacco.... Well it does make sense to stock up on tobacco until I get back on track financially, then I can concentrate on some decent pipes. But I really do like that little Kaywoodie, might have to keep an eye on that...

    Need Help Deciding

OK... so the money I had saved for some tobacco was spent, as some of you might remember, on my daughters Xmas present (her rat)... of which I have no regrets. Savinelli -- always good?

As Chris stated... stick with a good estate, you'll get more bang for your buck that way. I will say that for mid range Stanwell's have really excellent quality... you can pick up an excellent estate Stanwell for about $30 an you wont be disappointed. of course that just my opinion. :puffy:

    Am I being a snob?

Some of those OTC blends are so saturated with flavoring that I believe after several years it would still come out of the bag wet! I am not a fan of the few blends that ive tried... but there has to be tons of people that still enjoy them as they are still around after so many many years.

    Rusticated/sandblasted or Smooth?

I'm with wildcat as well... It all depends on the individual pipe and what speaks to me. I love he look of a well done sandblast but because i work with wood everyday I also appreciate a very nice grain.
