Listed a new tamper tonight. This is made from from a material I've never used before but really like so far. It's called "Inlace Acrylester" and is used a lot in pen making. The patterns in this one remind me of briar. Color is called "Russet"- I call it red, and has tiny metal flakes. BTW--listings are getting kinda slim over there--ain't nobody got any pipes for sale?

I sell on flee-bay, just average estates that I clean up and resell. I wonder if there would be a calling for lower end pipes on BriarBid? Seems like maybe they would do some of the new fellas some good when trying to build a quick rotation.

Very nice tamper, ever do one in purple? Purple is the awareness color for Epilepsy and so it would be really cool if I had one in purple!

I've sold a couple of lower end pipes,Glen has sold several and there's been others. I also got a great deal on an unsmoked Curt Rollar-American Pipe Co. billiard.

The Inlace is available in a slew of colors-patterns. I bought only four blanks to try. If Purple is available I can do one for ya!

What fine work!
I stopped checking BriarBid a few weeks ago but did check in last week to find only one pipe for sale. I wonder what went wrong? I did sell a pipe there early on.

It appears the pipe community doesn't want to support a pipe only auction site, they prefer to give their support to other sites. That's a shame. It could be that I feel that way because I am so fed up with Ebag.I got fed up with all their rule changes -mainly regarding feedback- their fee structure and other things.I used to sell a few refurbed pipes and an occasional tamper.Haven't listed anything in months there although I do still buy on Ebag.

I like the idea of a pipe only site.It would be nice if some of the well known Ebag sellers would list on BriarBid and not just those who sell the high end pipes. I'd buy my Grabows on BriarBid if they were there!

Perhaps business there will pick up soon. People might have been spending money on gifts for family members for the holidays.
