What Did I Just Pass On?? Please Tell Me Its Crap

You know what that is don't you? That is the last pipe ever made by Sweede VanGoobermannsun in 1948! He literally died 5 minutes after carving it. He was the little known inspiration and mentor of Finn Banderpants. And we all know who Finn was and his everlasting influence on the pipe...

Peterson’s Explains The Black Bowl Coating!

Interesting! I have a Brebbia I am breaking in that had that same thing happen at the bottom of the bowl the first time I smoked it. That must have been what it was.

    Smoking in the Home

When I was formerly in an apartment I smoked in my car during the winter and during bad weather in the summer. Now that I am a home owner I have a nice sized outbuilding that I use year round. I use an air filter in there and a large construction propane heater in the winter.

    Plume or Mold?...

Letting it sit a little longer sounds like a good idea. My guess is that if it is mold it will move quickly in a few days.

    G. L. Pease: Cumberland & Samarra 20th Anniversary

I liked what I smoked of it. The original has a much stronger Dark Fired leathery feel while the aniversary was more mild and had an allspice bakery feel. At least that's what I was able to notice. It is definitely subtle. It is a good example of how a blend following the same recipe can change...

    Sutliff Cringle Flake 2020

Don't get me wrong, I think it is a singular blend worth the hype. I just have to get use to the different way it has to be handled.

    Sutliff Cringle Flake 2020

I have liked mine so far, sort of. Love the tin note. It is kind of sticky and I have had trouble keeping it lit which has led to more puffing which has led to bite :( I got some good advice from sablebrush52 and am just going to vary the cut and dry it out more.
