Never Ending Quest for the Padron.

I've smoked more Padrons than I care to remember. At one point, I was set up with a cigar vender to auto shop me 4 boxes of 2000's every month. My favorite is the Exclusivo but they're a bit expensive to smoke 4 per day. Unfortunately, I mirror several already made comments. I've smoked no pipe...

    Cellaring question

I don't believe you would see a perceptible difference in moisture if stored properly in a mason jar. That should be the case for up to 10 years and longer. I've opened a lot of tobacco in tins, mason jars and mylar bags that is 5 years and older. A fair amount 10 years and older. And it is rare...

    Pipe Shapes

95% of my pipes are 1/8 to 1/4 bent. I think that makes them more balanced to clinch and I also prefer the look. But it's purely personal preference. I have zero full bent pipes, I personally don't care for the look.

"Accidentally" Aged Tins - Smoke or Save?

Those blends should be good now and should also be fine or even better with a few more years. The Burley blends aren’t likely to change much and could get milder. Smoke now or save, I don’t think you can go wrong.

How to Get a Stain Out of a Meer?

I doubt there is a good way aside from a light sanding. I wouldn’t worry about it. Given enough time, the Meer should darken and turn brown hiding the stain.

    Confession

I didn't know there was any kind of rating system. I always thought I'd smoke what I enjoy the most. I have no idea why Burley would be rated below English or Virginia blends on this imaginary rating scale. The fact is, tobacco smokers of any kind seem to mostly be demonized these days.

Thank you. I have to say that Altinay does the best stem work I've experienced among Meer carvers. This stem is wide, the right thickness with a nice button. Clinches perfectly.
