Barling Mounted PBH 1904 Military Mount Info Requested

If I did it right, I believe 15 pounds 6 shillings at the 1964 conversion rate would equal $21.57 US. $21.57 US in 1964 converts to $182.01 in 2021.

    ORIENTALS Need Advice

Does Plumb Pudding count? If not I guess I will have to pop my tin of Presbyterian. I saw Quiet Nights mentioned earlier.. I get plenty of lat in that one but almost none in Plum Pudding. I have a bit of Country Squire White Rose, also wondering if that one should be considered Oriental?

    Windjammer

With hesitation..here was my new pipe after one bowl of Windjammer..

    Windjammer

Too late to edit.. So, definitely no bite..was the Perique I believe. Also around mid bowl it developed a nice chocolate creamy flavor with a little bit of nutty going on. I enjoyed it and have to retract my initial thought of comparison to Opening Night. I am not getting the raisin flavor like...

    Windjammer

My order arrived about a hour ago. Having my first bowl now. New pipe that I ran a Everclear soaked cleaner thru, new blend so I will reserve judgement. Initially it reminds me of Opening Night which I like. Curious about putting it in the jar already or leave it in it's tin for a few weeks...

Bulging Can of Granger - Is This Grangerous?

Will he try it in a unmolested cobb or a honey coated cobb??... That is the question.

    Windjammer

I ordered some things last night and included a single tin of Windjammer. I expect it to arrive in the morning and will probably try it right away.

    New Rossi Oom Paul

Congrats on the new pipe. I'm encouraged by your posts as I just ordered two Rossi pipes yesterday. There were two Savenelli shapes I have been saving up for and was hoping to catch a deal for IPSD.. One was not available anywhere and the other not much of a deal, so I got both in Rossi form...

Settle This Cobtroversy - Cob Controversy

I'm going to probably pass on the rim charring. Can't believe you didn't suggest a particular blend for my upcoming test?

Settle This Cobtroversy - Cob Controversy

I placed a order just now. It includes 2 Country Gentleman cobbs. Of course I will have to reference @shermnatman on how to properly apply the honey. None the less, a test forthcoming. Go ahead and submit your ideas of what blends I should use.

Settle This Cobtroversy - Cob Controversy

Never tried it. I am trying a bowl of Plumb Pudding in my Charlestowne Cobbler as I type this though... tasty. I need to replace my Country Gentleman. When I get around to that I may just get two and apply the Honey to one and leave the other unmolested as Ray suggested. Is the honey...

    Projects..

Besides polishing the stem I still had quite a bit of time with Everclear and pipe cleaners to get the inside of it good to go. All I had left for the bowl was a coat of wax. Once done with the stem I put it back together again. The adjustomatic works great. Through the cleaning process I...
