    Apocalypse WW1 (Pipes O'Plenty

I have not watched that, but love good history programming. Have to add it to the que. If you like WW1 History and podcasts, I rec Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, Blueprint for Armageddon. Its free on most podcast providers and will provide hours of quality listening.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

Good suggestion. I will double check. I tried the draw with the stem detatched and it feels the same. It is not rough to draw or difficult to draw, just narrower than I am use to. The closest I can compare it is to the falcon shanks I have. I did buy a Savinelli 121 Mega Rusticated 315...

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

I think so. I think I am now leaning toward keeping it since it is about the same as my Falcons and the pipe is so beautiful with such a cavernous chamber.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

No filter in it. Yes, it is the tip/ mouthpiece end. Very small opening.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

It feels like the draw on Falcons I have.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

I was wondering about this. Do you get bite more often with this pipe from having to draw more forcefully?

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

There have been a couple of newer Savs I have looked at that have narrow draws. The older ones I have (5 plus years old) have more open draws.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

Oh, well. I guess it will have to go back. It does seem top be smart to err on the side of caution. It passes a cleaner, it is just very small. I have seen this same narrowness on other new Savinellis. I guess they are making some stems with a smaller draft.

Narrow Draft on New Pipe. Advice?

I bought a beautiful Sav 316 Tundra EX that is huge. I love the look. I have not smoked it yet but have tested the draw and it is really narrow and restricted. The hole or channel in the stem is really small, smaller than I am use to. All of my other pipes, including several Savs, have...

Jacknife Plug or Triple Play. Which Do You Prefer?

JKP is stronger to me that TP. I like it but prefer Triple Play. TP is strong, but more well rounded in my humble opinion. I have both cellared, but have more TP.
