    Converting Push Tenon to Spigot?

Anything is possible with enough time, money, and talent. Having said that the amount of those three resources needed often outweigh the end result. Converting an already carved meer to a spigot would be nearly impossible to do, and it would cost more than just buying a spigot meer. The...

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

It certainly looks like there is. I suspect it was re-graded before being sent out of the factory due to fills.

    To Bend a Pipe?

I don’t believe the Borlum had a stem liner or inner-tube but anything is possible.

    To Bend a Pipe?

No, that’s about the right amount of bend for that pipe.

    Peterson Mark Twain 1981 Anomaly

I’ve never seen a Twain stamp that big but if I had to speculate, I’d say it was made to used on non-sequential pipes but they found out pretty quickly that it was to big to be viable and discontinued it’s use quickly. I suspect they just went back to using the same stamp as the sequential pipes...

    Paging George Dibos!

He's on his biannual trip to the vulcanite mines to gather materials. Then he's off to the arctic to dig for mammoth ivory for Dunhill dots. After that he's off to the Ural mountains to collect malachite for matching the green of Charatan stems.

Did You Lose Your Taste for Aromatics Over Time?

Like @Chasing Embers I smoked primarily non aro until I learned how to smoke and then moved to aro's and smoke mostly aro's now. Smoke what you like, and pay no attention to the people tell you what should like.

Is the pipe a "Deluxe"? if so it could have had a metal P as early as the 1953ish. But the .925 stamp was not used in by the Irish assay office until 2002. Does it have a tenon extension (condenser)?

Then it's somewhere in the 80's. For sure post 1950, but like I said they didn't start using metal inlaid P's in the stems until the early 80's. The Republic era is 1950-89, so your pipe is likely 1980-89

    Show Off Your Petersons Here!

Its modern, most likely post 2000. It likely has the year hallmark somewhere on either the band or cap. The metal inlaid P in the stem is a fairly recent thing, started in the early 80's I believe. If it were made before 1989ish it would say Made In The Republic Of Ireland or Made In The Rep of...
