The Perfect EDC Knife
There are many excellent knives mentioned in this thread. My EDC is usually a Kershaw Leek, Kershaw Blur, Benchmade 610, Griptilian or mini Griptilian, or any one of probably 150 vintage knives. The Most Disappointing Tobacco
The last Old Gowrie I smoked was in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Even then it was much better with about 3 to 5 years age. Fresh out of the tin, to me it was always so much hot air that bit my tongue. I haven't tried the new version of Old Gowrie yet, but I would think I would want it to have...- orvet

The Most Disappointing Tobacco
That is good to know about Gold Block. Ogden's version was good, though a bit more aromatic than I like. However, with some age it mellowed quite nicely. I have not seen any Gold Block for sale since I started smoking pipes again this year. Thanks for posting, I will know not to waste my money...- orvet
