    A Thought On Jazz.

I have a love/hate affair with jazz. I was a percussionist through my 20s (guitar proved difficult to learn but I hit some drums with sticks and it sounded like something so I became a percussionist). Jazz band weeded out the kids who were serious about music from the kids whose parents insisted...

    Peterson Christmas Pipes

I have no problem doing that but being new to smoking pipes and all, was unsure if there would be any health concerns using epoxy on a breathing stem which will see low grade heat. You know, health concerns above and beyond the cancerous smoke I will be inhaling anyway. Does anyone know how...

    Peterson Christmas Pipes

As stated in the Peterson thread, as soon as I picked up the 230 I received for the first time, the ferrule slid loose from the stem. I assume these are affixed with some sort of glue? I contacted Peterson who told me to contact the reseller. I contacted the reseller (in the UK) who gave me 2...

Teri Garr Passed Away At 79.

I was born in 74. Young Frankenstein was a big movie for me. The first "adult' movie that I watched. Teri was my first boner. Wilder and Feldman became two of my favorite comedic actors. RIP Teri.

Draw Frequency and Should I Puff Like Cigars?

It helped me to unlearn my previous held definition of "smoking". When I thought of "smoking a tobacco product" it brought to mind cigars and cigarettes, both of which I've smoked. In regard to these two, "smoking" them is a very active process. You are constantly sucking and inhaling. If you...

    Show Off Your Petersons Here!

Just received my 2024 Xmas from GQ tobacco. When I first picked it up and attempted to pull the stem free, the stem came out but the copper spigot part stayed. Is this normal?

    “Drew Estate Cigars”

By the way, Deadwood Tobacco Co makes pipe tobacco. They sell Lane, Sutliff, Stokkebye but have some house blends as well. https://deadwoodtobacco.com/shop/?e-filter-3c93102-product_cat=pipe-tobacco

    “Drew Estate Cigars”

Arturo Fuentes are rock solid. It was the AF Hemingway Short Story that opened my eyes to cigars. To this day I still keep at least a dozen in my humidor because it's such a pleasant smoke that can be enjoyed in a short sitting. Drew Estates are great. They have a million sub-brands that are...

    Unfinished Savinelli Haul

Great pickup! Love that Fragola 320. I love my Savinellis and have been wanting to add a 320 to the mix. Nearby B&M has a 320KS Eleganza with the spigot stem that I've been eyeing but I think I like the chunkiness of a standard 320KS better.
