I couldn’t resist this 1998 “Beaver” Nording on MBSD.

Any other “hunting” pipe collectors?
I've never heard of a hunting pipe before! But, I'm relatively new to the hobby. It doesn't seem to appear on any shape charts I've used as a reference. I take it this is a pretty classical take on a "hunting" shape?

I like it very much! Beautiful pipe!!

Yes! I have a couple of Woodcocks, an Anniversary, a Pheasant, a Cheetah, and a Ruffed Grouse. The Woodcocks, the Anniversary and the Cheetah are great pipes when used. The other two are okay. I had a Quail, but the fit wan't right with the stem and I sold it, will likely get another. Had a Fox and just didn't want to keep it so sold it as well. There are some older models I like I'm on the lookout for, but haven't found just the right ones yet. The last couple of annual offerings haven't stirred me, lol. The Warthog wasn't for me and last year's garish black and red whatever was pretty bad (IMO). It's that time of year so I'm looking forward in a few weeks to the announcement for this year. It's early and the house is quiet - this reminds me to do a little browsing, haha.

Ahh, that makes sense why they don't appear in traditional shape charts. A very cool concept for a pipe series!! I'll have to keep an eye out for them! I only own one nording pipe, but it is quite traditional in its shape and definitely not from the hunting series. So, I will avoid posting it here so as to not distract from this thread. Thanks for your response and sharing images of your nording hunting pipes!!
