Do any of you have any personal experience with Savinelli's Tundra line of pipes? I am considering one for my next Sav purchase but haven't handled one in person. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Gary -

One Pipe, One Tobacco!
I don't dedicate specific blends to specific pipes, but I do dedicate by flavor profile. The exception is I only smoke 1792 out of one pipe, however I smoke other baccy out of it also, just don't smoke the 1792 in anything else. The tonquin ghost improves some blends and detracts from others...- garyovich

Looking at my 320 ks and ex they seem to be about the same size chamber. The ex seems to have a bit more briar. Looking at various model's specs online they appear to be generally close to each other bowl size-wise. -

Who Has The Beautiful Savinelli 320?
I have a 320 KS standing. Love it! I plan on getting it in another finish soon. Plenty of briar keeps the walls/hand nice and cool. -
My Nording Signature Is Starting To Get Color
Nice looking pipe! I've been smoking mine for about 8 years and it is DARK. It's been a companion on 4 continents. Unfortunately yesterday I chomped through the bit :( I wish I had had the foresight to take before/after pics. Good call!- garyovich

Smooth Pipes Tend To Smoke Better Than Sandblasted
The only difference I have seen across the board is that rusticated/blasted finishes tend to smoke cooler. I imagine this is because of a greater ratio of surface area to bowl size. -

@pa, I understand not wanting all your pipes to taste like deer tongue, but do you ever smoke other blends in that pipe? I have one pipe dedicated to 1792 for the same reason (tonquin instead of tongue) that's all I smoke 1792 in. However I often smoke other blends in it as well because I find...- garyovich
