    SG Hansom Flake, First Impressions

My tins are supposed to arrive today. What beverage pairs well with superglue?

Stocking Up On Favorite Scotch & Irish Whiskey?

Hope the price of Laphroaig and Ardbeg don’t shoot up too much, but, if they do, I will be fine sticking with bourbon or beer. On a positive note, wine prices are expected to drop over the next 3 years due to an excess of California grapes and a decrease in demand.

1999 Tin FVF, Smoke or Sell?

We want to see those flakes up close! +1 for smoke it!

    SG Hansom Flake, First Impressions

Haven’t had a SG blend yet that I didn’t enjoy. I’m sure this one will be no different, so long as it doesn’t taste like superglue.

    Recent TAD Pick-Ups

I caved and bought 10 tins of SG Hansom Flake. What can I say... I’m a Gawith Slut! Been seeing posts that the tin lids are glued shut. WTF?

    Pipe Rotation or Random Use?

I have about 50 or so nice pipes to choose from, but usually pick one and smoke the same one for a week or two before switching it up. I only smoke my pipes a couple times a week, 2 bowls per session.

    Congratulations, Pipestud!

I have a pouch of Five Brothers that I use as tinder for some of the Gawith Flakes I smoke. That stuff takes a match like dry hay in a barn.

    Congratulations, Pipestud!

Can you imagine the choices he has to smoke in his personal cellar??? And I believe his favorite is Royal Yuck???

    Why Cellar Pipe Tobaccos?

Because once you smoke aged pipe tobacco, (like aged Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky), you prefer it over fresh!!! #ThanksTim

    Private Sales

I would assume any private tobacco sale without a tobacco license would technically be illegal, excluding Indian Reservations. Perhaps you should “gift” the tobacco in exchange for a “donation!”

    Bad First Experience

Yum! The 12-yr. double-aged Connecticut is currently my favorite Perdomo right now, but I‘ve never had a Perdomo I didn’t like. The Factory Tour Sungrown is also an incredible cigar, and at a lower price point. That stick is pure cream!
