    Without a doubt. I have sister kaywoodie flame grains both are really good looking but both smoke like shit. Don't want to get rid of them, they were my first briarwood pipes, but I can't figure out how to use them properly. One smokes hot as hell and the other one gurgles really bad.

    To filter or not to filter...?

    I have a few Savinelli pipe's with the balsa filter's and they seem to work good,it keeps the moisture level down and I have not noticed any change in the tobacco's flavor,but normally I don't use filter's outside of these pipes.

    What are your other hobbies?

    FISHING!!! Living in Fla I am blessed with year round action. Nothing beats a 7lbs 28 inch red fish in 1 feet of water on the other end of your pole. It's the only other hobby I have that is more expensive than pipe's, but it's so worth it.
