    Peterson Sports' Era?

Thanks for the tip! I found the newer versions overseas but not the Sport line. I will keep an eye out for them and hopefully run into a few of them over time.

    I've gone and broke it

Post a picture if you can. We have had good luck mixing activated charcoal (to match the black stems) and clear acrylic epoxy to restore stems. I believe they make a black epoxy so you can skip the charcoal step and fill in the cracks. Then sand and buff it back to its original shine and away...

    Peterson Sports' Era?

I have an interest in these pipes. I have two of these shapes and want to get the other 4 for my collection. Does anyone know if any retailers still carry or sell this line? I found both of mine on eBay but that has been a whole year of randomly searching. I have the prince and the pot shapes below.

Let’s Talk About Bags… (Long Post)

Npod - nice set up! That was going to be my next project, finding a way to store all my cleaning stuff in one place and not in a bunch of cigar boxes. Pepesdad1 - I also like those pouches! I use my smallest pipe pouch to keep the bare essentials for my daily smoke. That hand made pouch is nice...

    Question Regarding WTB ADs...

I was wondering if there is anywhere on the forum to post that you may be looking for a specific item or pipe? I understand it is hard to monitor these ads but is it prohibited on the entire forum or just in the for sale ads section?

Let’s Talk About Bags… (Long Post)

I started smoking my pipes about a year ago and since then I also visit my local pipe and cigar shop several times a month. In the beginning it was not tough, I had a basket pipe, a small pouch of tobacco, a tamper and a lighter. I kept most of those items in my pocket and the larger items I...

    Erik Nording Compass Pipes

Good to hear. I will be picking one up here in the next month or so just out of curiosity. I have this pipe as a fishing/travel pipe but want to try something else. Thanks for the update!

Please help me identify this pipe...

I have not looked at the Dunhill Catalogs for it. I’ve had no luck finding any information on this pipe which is why I turned to you guys.

Please help me identify this pipe...

Hello, I recently bought this pipe from a friend and am having a hard time identifying it. It is a Dunhill and it is stamped “DUNHILL SHELL over MADE IN ENGLAND10”. I am trying to sell it and want to know what it is so I can list it properly. Anyone have any idea what it is? Thanks for your help!

    Favorite Single Pipe?

I choose my newly acquired MM Charlestowne Cobbler. It is a great smoking pipe and the acrylic stem won't get too damaged while I fish, gather coconuts and start fires!

    Is Pipe Smoking Changing?

As a fairly new pipe smoker I don't know much about the "changes" that have taken place. I have to admit that I enjoy having the availability of pipes, the ease of buying a handful of new blends and yes I sometimes enjoy this forum. I can imagine a time where catalogs were the closest thing to...

    Stanwell Calabash

Awesome! Glad to hear they are good smokers. I will keep an eye out for one of these in the future!

    Stanwell Calabash

This one caught my eye and I was curious to see what your thoughts were on these? I really like the shape and want one but I want to know what the guys who own these have to say. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but it caught my eye.

What Is Your Single Most Favorite Thing About Smoking a Pipe?

I do it because all the other kids on the playground are doing it. Seriously, I do it for the smoke, appreciation of a fine pipe, finding the flavors of a blend and relaxing. I also have made plenty of lifelong friends who are amazing people! I also enjoy the stories and jokes that come from a...
