One of my favorites; I smoke it as it is out of the box, mainly rubbed out, but fold and stuff performs well too. When it's fresh, the Burley prevails, aged five years the fermented Virginia takes the lead. For me it's good in both cases.
The Savinelli shop in Milan is not anymore what it used to be a couple of decades ago: then the shop window was entirely filled with pipes, whereas now there's only a few and there is a lot of gadgets; I don't think that the price of the pipes is discounted. Noli in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele...

I've smoked several pouches of HH Vintage Latakia and I like it very much, more than the Syrian version, and yes, the Ciprian latakia is not the only difference, this new version seems to me burley-forward and with less latakia taste.
