Now smoking Watch City VaPer Test Sample #3 in a smooth straight Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

A little mix of Edgeworth RR and a small bit of Dark Strong Kentucky in a Moretti Morta Stack.

I think I dislike Edgeworth. It just tastes like nothing and doesn’t stay lit. It’s been sitting for a year and still sucks. Or is it me?

Part way through this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a very much appreciated 1979 brown, slight bend grain etched flat front Stanwell Rego 969-48 (09) with a black vulcanite stem. Watching The Bishop Murder Case starring Basil Rathbone. An exceptionally slow paced movie.

This morning I’m smoking something I call Yale Dropout in a Peterson Aran pot. Recently ordered 4 oz of C&D Yale Mixture bulk as I really like light Latakia mixtures. This was just flat to me, sweet Virginia’s, but too little smoky goodness, even with my preference for the style. So, I took half of it, added an ounce of well aged and dried Pease Samarra, and an ounce of crispy Dunhill the Aperitif - and bam! Very enjoyable blend. I actually walked the ratios up twice to arrive at this. I think I’ll do something similar with the remaining 2oz of Yale...
