    RE: Rule # 6

Good point. How do we discuss tobacco legislation without mentioning that we're in the late stages of empire, for example?

Cleaning Products as Bad for Lungs as Smoking 20 Cigarettes a Day

I just went to the PDF. Not sure what The Independent used.

    RE: Rule # 6

This is the eternal tension, and why people want a political forum. We all dislike tobacco legislation, but it is not a cause in itself, but an effect of some attitudes that many of us are still infected with. I mean, I have learned quite a bit from analysis of the problem, and now I go around...

*** What Are You Smoking?*** (February 2018)

Prince Albert in an unfinished University pipe of the bent billiard variety. Goes will with Dismember.

    Nicotine Absorption

It was a great year. I discovered beer and cigarettes. Wish I'd just taken up a pipe instead however. But no, I wasn't thinking of relaxation. You just get a better flavor, experience, and Nicotine experience with a pipe. Cigarettes are about 8,000% easier however.

    RE: Rule # 6

Political posts are hard because you have two basic groups, one that wants equality/freedom and the other that wants social order. They want different societies and will clash and alienate each other. I suggest an informal forum somewhere where people can bash out "pipes and politics" because a...

Tobaccopocalypse is like civilization decay: it happens slowly in little bits and you do not notice at the time, but then one day you wake up in a favela lighted by a Coca-Cola billboard as helicopters circle above and gunfire breaks out on the streets next to the open sewers. It's good to be...

    Some Learnings

Everyone learns differently. Some are readers. Big point is that you cannot learn without doing, when the task involves doing. If I could do it again, I would have picked up a few cobs, some Carter Hall, Prince Albert, and Five Brothers, and just focused on enjoyment and technique for awhile.

Cleaning Products as Bad for Lungs as Smoking 20 Cigarettes a Day

Please do not politicize this thread. It just is not intended that way, but for you to use in your discussions with others. In my view, things are looking up. My longstanding analysis is that more of our health problems are caused by industrial pollutants than smoking pipes and cigars, and that...

    Somewhat Sad and Aggravating Day

To me, the principle is more important than the dollar amount. Parasites and sociopaths destroy trust, hope, and faith in others. Exile 'em to Mexico.

    International Pipe Smoking Day

Going to smoke a pipe, all day. Then pour one out for our departed Dunhill blends and head off into the wilderness.

    Death Metal

Likes Death and Morbid Angel, looking for structured music... I'd get into Atheist, Demigod, Bolt Thrower, Sadist, Maleficarum, Infester, Pestilence, and Vader. As far as black metal, you might try going back a generation. Emperor, Demoncy, Burzum, Gorgoroth, and Enslaved. My tastes tend toward...

    Nicotine Absorption

This is one of the many reasons why, in my view, pipe smoking is not only safer than cigarette smoking but much more enjoyable, and I wish I had discovered it when I was thirteen.

Very interesting. I used to smoke Gitanes and noticed that Chinese cigarettes tasted more like them than American or British cigarettes. I can also see the advantages to the fast maturation time.

Our interview with Ildjarn: http://www.deathmetal.org/interview/vidar-vaaer-ildjarn/ Also relevant for Burzum fans: http://www.burzum.com/burzum/meaning/importance/ I agree. Once you get used to the idea that it is melodic in composition and not based around vocal harmony, which is a big...

Growing your own is the future. This curing method is new to me and sounds interesting. What does shredding the tobacco do, besides tempt you to stuff it in a pipe too early?
