    Classic English isn't bad at all. I've had some amazing meals in London. Ireland....not so much.

    Given the current conditions of scarcity, I would buy as much as I could afford of anything I liked. When I got to about 100lbs I would reevaluate and adjust.

    Pease Cumberland. Right now it's my open the can and fill the pipe go-to blend. Easy to prepare (none) and consistent. Nice plummy background to the Va's. Good stuff and available.

    They taste just like chicken. I love these types of these articles. These guys had huge stones. If you're interested, there is a documentary just out on Netflix entitled The Alpinist that you may enjoy. It's the modern day equivalent of risking death to be the first.

    Most stuff with some age will be in the 20-25$ ish range for 50g. More rare stuff will increase up to double. Va's may be higher value. Product in tins may have more value than jarred.

    Hit and miss. I remember sitting outside in the morning in Monterey with a pipe of SDogs in a Becker Meer. It was one of those best of best bowls that happen occasionally. A very nice memory that I think of every time I cut off some slices. Monterey is magical. Probably has something to do with it.

    Salty Dogs is really good but it has to be the perfect dryness and in the perfect pipe. It's finicky stuff but worth playing with. I've found small narrow bowls work best. I have a couple of 20+ year old cans Limerick. Never tried it but the reviews were ok. It won't get touched for a while.

    Somehow, I am now a fan of Veermaster. :) I tried a can a long time ago and it was meh. Have a 20+ year old tin in the cellar I will break open one day. I agree with Brobs though. I like Patriot Flake and Salty Dogs. The rest are not for me.
