My favorite adventure story also happens to be true: Ernest Shackleton and The Endurance. I’ve read and watched numerous books and shows on the subject. I ran across this article on the anniversary of the sinking of the ship. The hardships those men endured were unspeakable. It will be interesting to see if they can find the wreckage.

I love these types of these articles. These guys had huge stones. If you're interested, there is a documentary just out on Netflix entitled The Alpinist that you may enjoy. It's the modern day equivalent of risking death to be the first.
