Apologies to readers and moderators if this is not the right place for this topic. I did not want to disrupt the sell/trade forum with queries from a novice seller. Please move or delete if this thread is inappropriate.

I'll be putting up some tobacco for sale/trade soon, and I want to price my small (10+ ounces) assortment fairly or request a reasonable trade. Several blends are no longer in production, and this appears to make a difference in the tobaccos' value. Is there a general formula for either pricing or requesting trades of comparable worth?

Prices can vary wildly from day to day…

Probably the best thing to do is figure out what you want to get out of it. Price accordingly. Could you be leaving money on the table? Maybe. If you’ve priced it too high, you can always come down on the price.

Follow Pipestud’s site for few weeks to get idea of prices. He pretty much sets the price for the secondary market.
