    Kaywoodie Pipe Dating Help

Those Streamliners had the double bore to allow the front of the bowl to burn better. Why they put a carburetor in I don't know, but that is probably a C for carburetor and not U. This thing is mid-thirties more than likely. I know people are saying earlier but the Streamliner really didn't...

Jim's Sutliff Pipe Force Episode V Review.

I will smoke a lot now but saved much for later, too. Having smoked a ton of aged Black Shag, I am very curious how these stoved tobaccos will age.

    Stem Plugged

If it is fluff in the end, buy better pipe cleaners and always rub all of the loose fluff off before using it. I will not use cheap pipe cleaners anymore for this exact reason.

I pushed latakia until everything tasted salty every time I smoked them. But that has not happened in a long...

Anyone restore the wood on wooden chisels using the techniques for a pipe restore?

Is it done? Sure. Do we talk about it? No. A handle on a chisel is utilitarian. I spend more time worrying about the pipe than the appearance of my tools. Often, any moment spent fiddling with tools is considered time wasted when you have a pile of pipes to finish. That's probably the main...

Can a Pipe be Made Lighter in Color?

Yes, it is how that is typically done. I have some blasted as well.

    Your Opinions on Morta

I have a few, and have made many. I honestly find that they look cool but do not replace briar. Unless I actively try to smoke them, I forget about them entirely. Definitely high rate of cracking and burnout, too. An absolute pain to work. The smell and finer dust from them lives with you for...

    Best Rope/Twist For Chewing?

Pretty much every rope is good for this.
