Thank you for this. I’ve had many similar thoughts, and wrote a lot of words this evening while enjoying a cigar; rather than appear to try to steal your thunder, I’ll simply say that I’m a pipe and cigar smoker too, and have thoroughly enjoyed this experience.- JoeW

I bought a Falcon standard stem from tobaccopipes several weeks ago, and mine looks like that. I use rubber bits on mine, otherwise I’d be too tempted to bite down and break all my teeth out.- JoeW

Sitting out on the deck on a quiet, rainy fall evening (it feels like fall here, anyway), with a Hemingway Best Seller Once the burn is past the hump, the flavor turns really nice and mellows a lot. Very pleasant.- JoeW

I’ve been there a few times and prices are high: I recall $15.95 for a pouch of SWR, and $17.95 for a pouch of Mixture No. 79. Pipe tobacco selection is pretty light too.
