    My savinelli 673 smokes burley very well. It could just be matches860 influencing me, but I've tried it on haunted bookshop and solani aged burley flake in it. It's worked best out of any pipe I've had.

    99% of the comments have been good. I do try and not smoke around kids. The people in my parents neighborhood thought it was cool. In college I was having a pipe on 420 outside my dorm and people smirked at me which I thought was kinda funny.

    In Disney's Mr. Toad, theres a couple scenes of Ratty smoking a pipe. Basil of Baker Street from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective smokes a calabash.

    Im currently blending a replacement for Frog Mortons Cellar. I'm using 50% Sutliff Matured Red Virginia 515 and 50% Cornell and Diehl Latakia. I am also leaving a shot glass with lagavulin inside the jar to get the whiskey flavor. Do you think this will work? Have you blended your own blends...

    Overrated Blends?

    What blends just didn't live up to the hype for you? For me it was Carolinia Red Flake 2022 by Cornell & Diehl. It was my first year trying it and it smells better than it tastes. Lots of Virginias are way better.

    What are some tobacco blends that nobody really talks that are hidden gems. For me Id say Hearth and Home Magnum Opus and Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake.

    What blends would you not recommend to anyone? For me its Macbaren HH Rustica. It made me gag and it was too strong. Only smoked half the tin before throwing it away.

    Hi! I've been smoking pipes for about 7 years. I usually smoke English blends but I try and keep other blends on hand. My favorite blend is probably quiet nights.
