Otherwise it’s into the city for Iwan Ries, or up to Arlington Heights.
Thank you! Ya Im in Roselle. I went to iwan ries last week and picked up some hh latakia flake and gawith and hoggarth rum flake.Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. I grew up in Chicagoland, went to the city with my dad as a school kid, on my own with a buddy as a teenager, and commuted there to school ( U. of I. at Navy Pier in those days) for the first two years of college. I lived in the suburb of Park Ridge, near the corporate city limits of Chicago near the Chicago neighborhood Edison Park, on what was then the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. Park Ridge used to have the Park Ridge Pipe Shop for about fifteen years, with a resident pipe carver and high end pipes, before I smoked a pipe. Do you ever get downtown to Iwan Ries? I've done some business with them online. I find it is pronounced Ivan Reese.
