    Value of Novelty

So as many may know, I am new to this hobby, so have been buying tobacco in as small quantities as possible. However, I do note one trend, I kind of have a tendency to really like whatever is newest for a while... before it then kind of recedes to a place on my hierarchy. Anyone else a sucker...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2020?***

Trying a new tobacco tonight, Molto Dolce in my A Curtz Billiard. Not sure what to pair this with tea wise, I think i'm going with a nice broad leaf Ceylon from Vithrandke estate. Hopefully this will be an exceptional smoke.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2020?***

About to do some reading and writing while puffing on my stylish A. Curtz Billiard and some C&D Visions of Calaphais. In the cup is what is left of a pot of Eastern Shore Tea Company's Black Raven, a Poe tribute. Of course, reading Marcus Aurelius, smoking Lovecraft, and drinking Poe I am mixing...

    For the Guitar Geeks

I, of course, have to post again my brilliant innovation.... Of course if you've used either a brace or a pipe, you'd know this would never work, but it is a fun picture.

    For the Guitar Geeks

We would get along. I write in received forms. Villanelle Sonnet, Sestina and Rondel mainly. Some free verse and an occasional lyric or ritual poem.

So this is one of the pipes Peteguy was selling, and I am quite happy with it. It is my first Briar and first handmade pipe! Wow, down the rabbit hole I go I guess....

    For the Guitar Geeks

Mando and washboard/harp are a good combo. Gives a little backing to the mandolin

    For the Guitar Geeks

My housemate plays Mandolin, I busk with him on the washboard and harp all the time

Nice guitar! Mine is only an Oscar Schmidt Acoustic, inexpensive but I love it. Nice guitar with great tone. I really enjoy the twelve, it has such a full sound. Here's a picture along with my beloved washboard rig which I play with a couple of bluegrass and folk groups. That and harmonica.

I just bought myself a 12 String with some of my stimulus money. Very much enjoying it.

***What Are You Smoking, May 2020?***

Very Early Morning greeting it with my new A. Curtz Billiard, a bowl of Elizabethan and black coffee instead of tea by Rothrock Coffee, a small outfit outside of State College, PA.

Thanks! I usually get my notebooks from this Etsy shop, they are very reasonable for a good quality leather notebook, also great paper. https://www.etsy.com/shop/PAHandmadeJournal?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=214082119
