Help me pick out a Hand Gun!

Home defense, I use a Mossberg 500A Nothing compares!! When confronted inside your home of course you want all your bullets to hit the target but if they don't you certainly don't want a stray bullet to kill someone next door......well at least most of us don't want to kill our neighbors...

Do you have a working pipe?

I call this savinelli aligator my working pipe because it's super lite which works for me when I need both hands. I was wondering if others preferred a certain pipe when working outside or just working in general. Wallaby

How do you hold your pipe??

Normally on the left. Sometimes clenching, sometimes holding with the left hand. I find that it largely depends on the feel of the pipe and what I'm doing during a smoke. It seems I tend to clench a light weight pipe more often than a heavy one. Wallaby

    smoke rings

Just last night I was in my office finishing a bowl and for some reason I started puffing rapidly, creating a wonderful thick dense smoke. I blew a dozen or more smoke rings for no particular reason at all. I saw this post and chuckled because I hadn't blew smoke rings in several months.

I call it my egg pipe

I want to thank each of you for your gracious comments. I can't wait to order another briar block and get to work on another pipe. I enjoy working with wood and making pipes is very rewarding. Also the egg pipe smokes great. The flavor of my favorite tobacco has never tasted better. Wallaby

I call it my egg pipe

Dawk, I received the Briar block from Pimo's yesterday. I worked on it 5 hours yesterday and 6 hours today. I'm slow but if I tried to rush it wouldn't be much fun for me. Wallaby

I call it my egg pipe

This is the first Briar pipe that I've made. I practiced making 2 others out of oak. I left this one natural. I enjoy making pipes just about as good as smoking them. Could become my new hobby. I'm interested in your comments and advice concerning natural pipes? I call it the egg pipe because...

Hello to all, I'm just recently getting back into pipe smoking after several years without a single smoke. I stopped smoking 11 years ago when my daughter was borne. What was suppose to be a temporary break from my pipes turned into 11 years. My oldest son, whom is in the military started...
