That looks like double pitch screw tenon, it’s likely got one thread pitch/diameter in the pipe shank and a smaller one in the stem. If it’s a standard thread on the stem end it’s not a huge deal to re stem it. If it’s an esoteric thread it much more difficult. You could have it fitted with a...- RustiePyles CPG

Help with Meerschaum Pipe
It’s probably Turkish, no maker will likely be identifiable. The stem is not acrylic, it’s either amber, Amberol, or Bakelite. Rub it till it gets warm and smell it.
