It's a good time, especially with kids. I see similar happen at a number of annual country fairs. Be fun to take your grandson when he's between 5-8yo!That sounds like a blast!

@OzPiper I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. That is a very nice tribute smoke, I am sure he will appreciate it!Taking out a couple of 1922s today - being Dad’s birth year.
Dad passed away on Wednesday, after a short illness (influenza), 3 days short of his 103rd birthday
I can’t recall ever seeing him with a pipe, but he smoked cigarettes for years - Players Navy Cut, Lucky Strike, Peter Stuyvesant, Benson&Hedges.
He stopped smoking in 1985 after a heart attack
So here’s to you Dad
1st up is a 1922 FLC straight billiard

Being a cigarette smoker, I thought Dad would be happy with the blend of Burley, Virginia and Cavendish in MacBaren’s Navy Flake

@JimInks Lovely pipe! I'm not familiar with the term 'etched' for a pipe. Is that a manner of sandblasting or is this a rustication? Now smoking year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a 1984 medium bend black grain etched Savinelli Non Pareil 9310 pokerish dublin with a horn ferrule and a black vulcanite flared stem.

I reckon that’s your favorite pipe ain’t it?Part way through this bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. M'lady fed the ferals except for the absent Tomato the Brave. I fed Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
