Vegas Baby!!!
18 mile run! I'm impressed! I'm blown at 1 mile. Around here we have certifiably insane runners who do an annual 100 mile extreme run, on mountain trails, in February.

Oh sorry. I’m not running for shit. I had an assignment in Tucson. I’m based in Vegas. I got up at 3am. Drove 7 hours. Worked a fire scene and drove home.

Lost a really good friend of 34 years this morning. He gave a really good run of it at almost 92
He had no vice or I’ll towards anyone. Retired Barber and Sports Announcer here in Richmond.
I will miss talking Box Scores and his recaps of local sports and Stories of his Service in Korea.
Go see an old friend folks as they may be gone tomorrow……

Sorry for your loss. A very poignant and important thought.

A friend of mine stopped off to watch a basketball game on the way to visit his mother in the nursing home, and she died while he was at the ballgame. He’s never forgiven himself. He’d tell you he should, and that much is right, but he never will.

That’s a heavy weight to carry.

Rocky Patel Platinum Toro while playing golf. Bought two boxes of these on Cigar Page at a great price, happy I did.

A thought struck me as I viewed this latest post of yours. We should start an in-thread lottery based on them including:

1. What shirt you're wearing
2. What cigar you're smoking
3. Judging by the smile or frown, what you did or failed to do on the hole

Provide me with the stats ahead of time, and I'll volunteer to publish the stats after the post, and keep track of the results.

Prizes could include a used cigar stub from the hole, a framed photo of the post, and the grand prize of the year, one of the shirts you wore so the lucky recipient of the prize so it can be used as a smoking shirt. Let me know what you think . . . . :ROFLMAO:

Love these posts, btw!

This 1905 Pete Meer with custom poured stem by Fletch. Been smoking Various Flakes all day. Mainly Luxury Flake

Also yesterday I pulled another 18 hour run. Smoked most of the day, but here’s the sunrise and sunsets hours from home

My late mother loved getting sunrise and sunset pictures from the road.

Luxury flake, eh? Well, of course no way you’d want to smoke po’ boys flake with a pipe that nice and historic! I can only dream of getting one that dark before I die.

And hosting some delicious 2007 Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey in a 2019 Nording White Rhino smooth bent paneled with acrylic swirl accent on the saddle stem. IMG_2215.jpegWhen new, I thought it tasted like meh cheap tobacco, and it was indeed inexpensive back then. When I buy more, I hope I don’t have to wait that long for the new big tins to cellar the 65% Virginias. This stuff is now bursting with flavor.

Quite funny. I'm quite blessed to live in Florida where I can enjoy warm weather year round and also be able to play golf with friends 4 days most weeks. I'm smiling regardless of what I scored the previous hole. I have yet to figure out why someone would pay $100 or more and invest 5 to 6 hours of their time to get mad, rage and break clubs. I'm a fairly decent golfer generally shooting 78 to 85 but what I really enjoy is the friends, the sunshine and the beautiful wildlife on the course (even the alligators). And if course, enjoying a couple of Cigars while doing all that.

I think I’m now “caught up,” and the smoke of the moment is Samuel Gawith No. 4 Kendal Brown Twist in the big bowl “EXTRA” sized Jobey sandblasted Shellmoor billiard with saddle stem with sharp, 90-degree transition. This tobacco was made for this big bowl and oversized drilled pipe restored by @98now.IMG_2237.jpeg

A third of a bowl left of year 2016 Hearth & Home AJ’s Vaper in a pre-1952 Sutliff Falcon 372 (made by Comoy’s) smooth light brown straight bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Had a very nice chat with an old friend, and am going to touch up pages on the Archie story I have been doing.
