HU Makhuwa in a Jirsa 107
Almost a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Crystal Palace in a dark brown smooth straight post-WW2 LHS Certified Purex 79 bulldog with a nickel ferrule and tenon with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
I’m not sure if it’s a wise choice before bedtime but here it goes. Peterson Nightcap in a Bari de Luxe.

Now smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a straight sandblasted black post-1938 (Comoy’s) Made in England Ancestor bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Amphora Virginia mixed with a pinch of Molto Dolce, in the Richard Mason Blasted Strawberrywood Big Apple, and a glass of Chianti Classico from last night that gets a 
Elizabethan Mixture in a rusticated Savinelli Bing’s Favorite.
Clan has grown on me too, though I've noticed it has lost a bit of flavour since newly opened. And that is one Fabulous Pete!

I asked the same question but discovered that, in spite of it's very forward nature, it's a great last smoke of the day. Thought it was just something that only mad Englishman would do cuz I favoured something mild and somewhat aromatic at the end of the day. Then, I discovered my half-English side coming out at night like a vampire or SAS assassin. Let us know what you discovered.

Honestly I recently discovered that most of the times I prefer Nightcap on the morning and the Early Morning Pipe on the evening. I don’t know if it’s because of the rain ovehere today, but something inside made have a go with Nightcap before bed. 2025 briar fox in this Scottie Piersel prince. Been smoking through a tin of 2009 briar fox and a 2025 tin. I don’t think the age helps this blend very much. For me it’s nearly as good as it is with over 15 years of age

Two smokes today. Don't know what the evening will bring but, as I sit chomping on a Precipecis Caribbean, just before dinnertime, I had two quite nice smokes.
They'd have been better if my whatever it is virus or what was gone, but I discerned some taste and flavour in the tobaccos that I hadn't in the past week. Things are looking up and nasal congestion has lost most of it's downward trend.
In any case, had my usual-as-of-late "cherry juice" smoke with my morning cold coffee, and here's the shot of my little Meer Miniature which was treated to a full bowl of Captain Black Cherry Cavendish. The pipe is starting to colour quite a bit now, and I've really come to respect the little fellow as a fine smoker. Arty-crafty cartoon filter. Mehhh . . . . .
Late afternoon smoke, a survivor of the pipe tweak, my entry level Tundra Bent, with a half-bowl of Nightcap. This pipe survived the cut because not only is it a stellar smoker, but it's the only larger bowl pipe I have that really loves a half-bowl. Don't know why but it really seems to like being not quite full. I never look a gift horse in the mouth.

We were supposed to visit friends in Rhode Island, but plans got cancelled due to one of our friends not feeling well—much smoking and drinking is postponed.
