Passing the last third of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals and my cats. Took a little time, but everybody's happy now, and there was no drama. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Back on the farm, clearing out the woodshed (saw nothing nasty in it)*, splitting and sawing up logs. Peterson's Irish Cask in a Stanwell half bent brandy. This stuff, I find, gets less complex and interesting as it dries out.
*This is an abstruse literary allusion to Aunt Ada Doom in Stella Gibbons' novel "Cold Comfort Farm" (1932) and film of the same (1992). Both highly recommended.
