The tin foil hat thing makes getting around a bit slow, as my wife has run ahead of me, drive a ground rod in, move the jumper cables, connect the hat, remove the jumper cable from the previous ground rod, pull the rod out, run ahead, drive a new ground rod, etc., etc., etc.

I switched a long time ago to the much simpler and more convenient tin funnel hat.

Much thicker tin, bet it works a treat. And you have a funnel for changing oil.
