Hi, the pipe was bought estate in pretty rough condition, with a saddle stem. The stem is disintegrating and the overall taste is awful..
Here it is back then - . I think the new stem looks much better , and tobacco tastes as it should now.

Who made the new stem for you?

I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. I had the stem made in Bandung, by an artisan pipemaker. He made quite a few stems for me..
