Smoking a Nob Hill pipe I got from Ebay and cleaned up. Used the salt method for the bowl, let the stem soak in oxiclean. Finished everything by waxing the bowl with beeswax using some elbow grease. Smokes a nice bowl, enjoying some SWR on the patio.

Drying a wee bit of Sutliff Uno (sample) on a paper towel, to go in my MM mini-cob. Bird report: California scrub-jay, House finch, Steller's jay, Common raven, California quail, Ring-necked dove, Northern flicker, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, California towhee, and Hairy woodpecker. Temperature here was literally 15 degrees lower than the dumb weather report people said. Typical!

Enjoyed a tasty Cosmic Crisp apple, and am almost half way through this bowl of D&R Raccoon’s Friend in a pre-1980s straight dark brown Comoy's Sandblast 186 billiard with a black vulcanite tapered stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Working and listening to the Dodgers-Giants game as I work.
