Yes and no. Palm Springs is considered smog free albeit not particulate free as we live in a desert. However, a few miles south and at an elevation of 6000 feet, very clean air.

@weezell I've smoked some Old Dark Fired in my clay pipes; need to take your time with it as it's quite strong. Smoke a strong baccy too quickly and you get a baccy rush...Mac Baren: HH Old Dark Fired in a Clay...

Not far from finishing this bowl from a first production tin (2013) of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Putting the finishing touches on my review of the soon-to-be released C&D Folklore blend.
It really gets a bad rap. It’s not a bad tobacco at all
