Grey, drizzly day and almost back to winter temperature.

A bowl of Sam Gawith Scottish Autumn Flake in
A 1901 Loewe Bulldog with a tapered stem. Interestingly the button has a slotted AND round opening
And to carry the Scots theme, what else but a Scotch. That most balanced dram, a 21yo Springbank in a "dumpy" 1980s bottling.
Not quite a good as the 1966 Springbank I had years ago, made from locally grown barley and spring water from the property. That was very special.

Smoked a bowl of year 2016 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake in a straight smooth brown post-1964 Parker Super Bruyere 88/F group 3 bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

And just finished smoking year 2012 St. James Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Tanshell octagonal paneled EK F/T billiard with a square shank and tapered black vulcanite stem.

Enjoyed a tasty peach, and am a third of the way through this bowl of D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a black tapered vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Working and listening to Sam Spade, Detective on the XM.
