Sometimes I wish my brain embraced this method. It really doesn’t though. If it can be overthought, over complicated and made as convoluted as possible. I’m your man! ?

That's why I tend to smoke the same pipe and tobacco for a few weeks or months.

I smoked a Dunhill and a SMS meerschaum pipe for pretty much a year straight each. I used a Butera coloring bowl for the Dunhill and I field tested a coloring bowl for my buddy @johnr on the SMS with good results. It was a lot of fun watching them color. ?

Couple of new purchases. My old leather one pipe pouch has been lost again, so I ordered a new one from Mr. Brog. This one has its own sleeve for cleaners. I hate carrying around multiple items, so this is better for me.



And sold some pipes for store credit, and bought another Old Boy lighter. I had the pure chrome with the lines last time, and sold it on here. I hated it. Never lit properly for me.

But I wanted to try again.

What a weird spot to color the most...

that's where most of the juice is at, and the top of the shank there is where it has the shortest distance from the draft hole to the surface. all my meers have the deepest color there, even the ones I've smoked exclusively with a coloring bowl.

Love it. I have a shorty with that finish, and one that size with tooled black leather. They live in my car, which is black. (Bought the car to match them.)

Another Old Boy has briar as it's cover. Love them all.
