Now that Laudisi is distributing Gawith Hoggarth, I am sure it won’t be long before there is another drop. Sign up for the notifications on SmokingPipes and other sites that do that, and you will have better luck. Also, when there is a drop, check out places like Boswells that charge a little more, but don’t get picked through as quickly

Well at least they had most of their teeth. A true wonder for those times. Part of the reason I chose this clay over all the others on eBay was the shape and glaze of the bit, and also the backstory of the artisan. Here it is:

This has a great story....We met our neighbor quite a few years back, he is the original creator of the Barbie - and very talented, makes his own molds for dolls sculpures and even pipes.
He made these quite a few years ago, maybe back in 1970-1980
He turned 90 years young this year and asked us to help him sell his stuff
Sadly our neighbor has passed away on 12/10/18....RIP Tony

I’m the kind of person that takes (unimportant) things at face value. Even if the backstory isn’t true, the pipe is still cool! Of course, not as cool as your clay collection; but then again, I’m sure that l am not as cool as you. In fact, I can guarantee it! ?
