Yes, they didn't write that song but it's a great pop hit. He has amazing voice.

Both Billy Idol and Brian Ferry passed on it, doubt they would of done a better job...
So, apparently Billie Idol always regretted passing on the song.
Here’s ole’ Billie doing his version of the song.

Just doesn’t have the same magic formula that Simple Minds had in their song......... In my opinion anyway.

I was fortunate enough to have attended quite a few Ravi Shankar concerts here in Chicago, including his "Farewell Concert" at Chicago's Symphony Center, that featured his daughter Anoushka. My wife and I met and spoke with them both after the concert. They were unbelievably warm and gracious to us.
Here's is a brief excerpt from "Raga Pachem Se Gara," live in 2007.

Woke up with Steely Dan's Aja album front to back. Now I'm on Donald Fagen's sophomore solo effort, Kamakiriad, a concept album about an adventure in an ecologically correct car in the distant future. Very witty, clever, complex album. My favorite songs off of it are On the Dunes, Snowbound, and Teahouse on the Tracks. Cheers!
