I read back over my post. Sounds like I’m comparing them to GWAR? Just meant to say they were original pioneers for early thrash/punk scene.
No they never did get the recognition they deserved. Great band!
Currently listening to the Smashing Pumpkins ~ Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
The voices inside my head.... They have the best advice for a good time.

Damn that's good!!! Love that kind of Turk rock guitar sound... If you dig this, definitely check out this trio, they only did one album together and theres no bass player, the bass is the pedals of a Hammond B3.
Modest Mouse rule, their catalog runs deep, too. I highly recommend their album Building Nothing Out of Something.

@blindanddirty that Heavy Machinery album is an all time favorite...it's so much more grooving and heavy than Holdsworth's other stuff (he's one of my favorite musicans, hands down) --very excellent choice!!!
