That's pretty cool! Even if you didn't like them. Was Sid playing with them when you saw them?
Oh yes. And there was also a second group, The New York Dolls?
No I doubt it was The Dolls. They toured the US in 76 but had broken up by the end of the year and Sid joined the Pistols in early 77. Maybe it was Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan's band (they were both in The Dolls) The Heartbreakers?
'Electric' by The Cult.....a very underrated band in my view.

I've been listening to A Long Time Comin' by The Electric Flag on LP, from 1968.
This is an amazing, must have, album that features Chicagoans Mike Bloomfield, Barry Goldberg, Nick Gravenites, and, among others, Buddy Miles and Harvey Brooks.
