They were a Chicago band. One morning, early or mid 90's, I was up early for work and getting gas around 6AM, the lead singer came up and asked if I knew where he could find an open liquor store. I was able to point him in the right direction and happily did LOL

Listening to some Jimi ~ Songs for Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts.

Can't rave about these recordings enough!

I always considered Band of Gypsys the finest work Hendrix ever released. Groovy Children has 5 hours from the 4 shows at the Fillmore. Awesome stuff!
