Listening to Gov't Mule, The Deep End Vol. 1 -this album features a plethora of famous bass guitarists, it was made as a tribute to my all-time fave player Allen Woody (Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule) who passed away tragically in the early 2000's.

I'll give him this...he did know how to write his name on a song.

Me too. I was listening to New York, New York as well as other Frank songs.
It's an often overused saying but they don't make them like 'ol blue eyes anymore. When he died they burried him with a bottle of Jack, a roll of Quarters (which he always carried) and a pack of Camels. The casinos in Vegas also stopped spinning for a minute, which shows how high a regard he was held in.
