limited budget. can get two rusticated pipes, or 24 tins of tobacco. was planning to get tobacco, but saw some interesting petes pipes. petes 80s spigot with p-lips looks real nice. thing is, it's hard to find the production pipes with just the right grain. but at the same time, tobaccos aren't going to hang around either. damn it, first world problem.

Honestly man I’d have to go with tobacco... Were it not for deeming legislation from the FDA preparing to take the ax to many of our beloved blends, I’d likely have a different answer.

Sadly, for me at least, it’s cellar time. I’ll buy the occasional pipe still, but the balance of my fun-money is for tobacco.

...Speaking of, I need to add a couple pounds of C&D Bayou Morning to an order I’m preparing. Not sure why it crossed my mind suddenly but I’m glad this thread came up!

Best of luck regardless of your choice :)

Pipes aren't under the same nanny state assault that tobacco is, at least not yet. You know what you need to do....

The FDA’s new definition of a "tobacco product" includes pipe tobacco, pipes and their parts. The rules cover manufacture, packaging, and sales. Importers of tobacco products must ensure that the tobacco products they import are in compliance with the law.
