Full Virginia Flake and St James Flake blends are sooooo tired and overrated. There are much better blends out there for far less money. I'm too good and too smart be pressured into chasing these unicorn tobaccos blah blah blah... there. Can we agree that's out of the way now?

Thank you for taking the time to let everyone know.

How DARE they only have 208 tins. I'm boycotting.

There were 245 on March 16th, so they've sold 37 tins in the past 12 days. The recent feeding frenzy seems to have slowed a bit.

Now that we're stocked up on these two, should anyone notice a flood of Fribourg & Treyer Cut Virginia Plug hit the market, PLEASE let me/us know. I've found only a single tin in the past few months

Good to know it's back. Blends come. go and return again. I'm stocked, so no need to buy. Waiting for my stock of F&T CVP to age a few more years before smoking. Fresh it didn't do much for me. I'm hoping that it will get a bit richer. That's another one that comes, goes, and returns.

    Sorry for your loss.
It's because I bought up the last shipment of CVP and Blackjack.

I said to myself, "Self - what can you corner the market on that'll get under N8's skin?" To my surprise, I responded "Well, We've all got all the Esoterica we need. The whole WBCDF thing has run its course. Even FVF/SJF stocks seem to be shored up. So what about buying all the good F&T stuff that's been flying under everyone (but N8's) radar?" Then my other self responded to my first self "Genius!!!!!!!!"

And then I ordered it all up.

    The end.

Damnit JMatt... wanna know what you, your "self", and the horse you rode in on can do? I've been told to watch my language, but it involves sex, the other hole, and beastiality

Weez, my indoor voice, my outdoor sarcastic voice, or the voices in my head... I draw no distinctions. They're all voices in my head, communicating through the hole in my as.

Anyone else get some 1792 from this last batch? The tins were in a month or so ago and the boxes came in this week. It's very different than it used to be. And I know batches vary, but it's a whole new flavor. The topping is like Gingerbread, really delicious. But the whisky that used to be there is missing, it's just really different

I got a box of 1792 and it tastes the same to me. The tin I finished before I tried the box was from 2011.

Really? I've smoked a decent amount of 1792 but it's totally different now

Batch variation? I've seen some pretty wide QC swings in Samuel Gawith blends, as well as Esoterica and others.

That's what I was thinking but 1792 was out of stock everywhere for months. I got a bunch of tins when it first came back a month or so ago at SP and a bunch of boxes the other day when those came in. All the same. So if Hawky bought I would think he'd be getting what I am
