Just finished a tasty smallish bowl of Vengeur Silver in a Chicago era Grabow Tru-Grain, straight, smooth, slightly forwardly canted billiard.

I smoked it outside, walking the private roadway to the buildings in our 'complex'. It's about 70 f. outside. Nice, clear night, no moon, very little sound. Not even an owl right now.

I live beside a golf course situated at the southwestern edge of the Ocala National Forest, so I usually see lots of critters at some point. So far, no bears.

Can you imagine being w/o power? "no, that was before my time" ..hmmn.

Note to self: do not stroll where bears may be. Owls OK; bears, not so much.

Gorgeous pipe, Harris! I love a good grain like that one!
Right now I'm doing Chimney Smoke in a Winslow Crown. I haven't measured the bore but it's probably THE easiest draw I can remember. Fantabulous flame grain too. I'd do pictures but I'm too daggone busy enjoying the thing! Maybe later if I remember.
