Started the day with a Briarworks Limited Small Batch Apple w/ Straight Tapered stem and some Fresh 2023 Sam Gawith Navy Flake.

After lunch is was the Moonshine Briarworks Limited Small Batch Devil Dog with Saddle stem and some Sutliff 507C Virginia Flake folded and stuffed.

Both pipes in the Brown Blast Tortoise stem combo. Both are solid smokers.

Sam Gawith Navy is a smoky navy flake that feels like what a seasoned officer might have a personal stash of. So smooth, so rich, so good.

The 507C feels a bit more like what my forbearers might have smoked. Clean, crisp and nice after a hard morning in the feels.

Earlier, I smoked Seattle Pipe Club Hogshead in a well appreciated medium bend, smooth brown 1950s Peterson 999 Dublin chubby Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem.

Now, I've about a quarter of a bowl left of Wilke Lizzie Blood Virginia in a straight black with burgundy undertone sandblasted early 1960s Lane era Charatan 420 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Watching the Braves-Giants game. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
