I use a simple rubber-lined leather bifold tobacco wallet from Brigham: $ 30 Can. Prior to that ?I owned a Petersen Pipe kit, 2 pipes, tool pocket and tobacco in separate zippered compartments, lasted me 20 years, it was $65 Can then.
