Kaywoodie Christmas Pipe Update

I got my 2012 Kaywoodie Christmas pipe from this thread and cleaned it up. I must say this is an absolutely fantastic pipe. I only have 2 bowls of P&C Butternut Burly through it but I am positive it is a smoking machine. It smokes cool and I've had less trouble with relights with it than I do with most pipes. Consumer tip from the Stig: if you see a Kaywoodie Christmas pipe...buy it!

Got it, I do like the design of the one you posted way back when, coupled along with your description I couldn't see why I would pass one up.

Does anybody know if any 2012 ones were made in smooth? Would be interesting to compare.

capt - those 2012 Christmas KWs were made for the 50 or so puffers in the Slow Smoke event. They were all blasted and either black or tan finish. I didn't see any smooths.
