Anything over 80deg and I’m sweating, I’m not really comfy until it’s lower than 60deg. I’m happy as a clam at -20deg, give me a coat and a tuque and I’m golden!

It's 68 degrees here now. Low tonight is 57. Low humidity. Sitting on the back porch right now enjoying a pipe.

Philo, it's funny. I'm from south GA (state, not country), yet I'm not a big fan of hot weather. OTOH, while I have a broader comfort range than most people, for me cold is where it's at. I tell people I've got a GA pedigree & a MN thermostat. Normally I'll put on a long-sleeved shirt when it gets to 35 Fahrenheit, & to me it's not cold till it's 25 & stays there a week. Once it's 95 or hotter, though, it's just too damn hot... Go figure; one of God's many jests on me....

Clay pipes are a nice change of pace, though I've heard it's best to have a plastic or other bit, just not clay, for health reasons. But briar, cob, and Meerschaum are the old standby work horses, and Morta is widely admired (I don't have a Morta). Love them briars, Meers, and cobs.
